Walberswick Church

I stopped to photograph this church, which I came across quite by accident, when exploring the area around Southwold in Suffolk. It looked quite spectacular. I photographed it in black and white because I think it’s more suited to older structures somehow. Also I am partial to a bit of black and white photography from time to time.

This church was built within the walls of the original much larger church that the local people could no longer afford the upkeep on. The original church was built in the 1400’s and this one was built in the 1700’s using the original materials
