The Great Olney Sunday Afternoon Bike Bash
When I saw this event was coming up I made a note to go and visit. This necessary because in the past I have often seen a notice about an upcoming event and then promptly forget all about until I see that its happened on the local Facebook page.
I was surprised when I walked down to the Rugby Club to see so many bikes there. Previously there have been bike meetings there but on a much smaller scale than this, a few bikes and the forecourt outside bar bar area, though usually fairly full.
Bikes seemed to be coming and going all the time. It was on from midday until 4pm.. Very well organised, a route signposted in from the Car Park and a one way route out via the rugby field gate.
There were certainly some stunning bikes on display, plenty to choose from for photos that’s for sure. I am not a great motorbike enthusiast, I dont know much about them, my interest up until a few years ago was mainly in the pedalling kind. I picked out few that grabbed my eye though.
