Sizewell Day 1

Sizewell might not sound very inviting because of its nuclear power station but to be honest you would hardly know its there. We came for the first time a couple of years ago and were stunned by the beach and the surrounding views.

A really beautiful beach, car park adjacent with cafe, and lots interesting things to see on the beach, boats, wrecks of boats, old fishing gear and fishermen’s huts. Sunshine always helps too.

These pictures are at the top end of the beach, near the car park and cafe, where most of the activity has been. We had arrived quite late in the day for a quick visit to refresh our memories but decided we would come back another day to explore more of the beach.
