Sizewell Day 2
On our second visit here we headed south along the beach among some mini sand dunes with a hill to our right and the beach to our left. As we progressed past the trees on the horizon that kind of looked like dogs in my imagination. Onward past a couple of buildings and then it became more wooded as the sand dunes disappeared.
I looked up to my right and saw some steps headed up into the trees and some kind of dome was in view, so I had to investigate. At the top there was pathway running parallel with the beach through the trees and bushes. This turned out to be the Coast Path. Opposite the steps I had just climbed was a flintstone wall and a big wooden doorway advising that it was Private.
However I wandered down the path a bit and the wall changed into a hedge. Then a little further on there was a gap in the hedge and no fence so I explored. I found some interesting garden buildings in a state of disrepair and in the distance through the trees was a big house. I took a few photos and then headed back towards the car park via the coast path. There was a bit of an underpass at one point and when we emerged at the otherside we were back among the ‘dog shaped trees’ and then on to the beach again.
